How It Works

The RED DINING BOOK is intended for your memorable dining experiences. In order to use the Book for a dining experience, you must abide by the terms and restrictions provided by the RED DINING BOOK and the restaurants.

 Terms of Service

1. Make a reservation + mention your RED DINING BOOK

Make your reservation early (ideally >3 days ahead) and note that you’ll be dining with the RED DINING BOOK.

2. Bring a dining companion + your RED DINING BOOK

Dine with a guest and order at least two main entrées. If unsure, ask your server before ordering which dishes qualify.

3. Complimentary lower-priced main entrée + a stamp in your RED DINING BOOK

Before paying, present your RED DINING BOOK for a stamp or signature. Maximum discount is $30 at each location.

Please note:

If these steps are not followed, the restaurant may decline to honor the offer. In rare cases, if there are too many RED DINING BOOK reservations on a busy night, the restaurant may limit bookings made with the Book. Check following link for our full Terms of Service

Frequently Asked Questions

THE RESTAURANT IS NOT TAKING RESERVATIONS

You may walk in and use your Red Dining Book ('Book') without a reservation, subject to availability. All other rules still apply, so please come with at least one other person and order a minimum of two main entrées.

THE MAIN ENTRÉES ARE NOT CLEARLY STATED ON THE MENU

If a restaurant does not clearly label dishes as 'main entrées' on its menu, you are required to confirm with the restaurant before ordering which menu items are eligible for the use of the vouchers in the Book. Pasta and Pizza are considered main entrées.

WHERE SHOULD I MENTION THE BOOK WHEN MAKING A RESERVATION?

When making a reservation, you can write 'coming with the Red Dining Book' in the remarks field. Alternatively, you can call the restaurant for making a reservation and mention that you will be using the Book.

CAN I USE THE BOOK FOR LUNCH?

In general, the Book is valid only for dinner. However, some restaurants accept the Book for lunch or brunch menu items as well. Please, always confirm with the restaurant before ordering to avoid any issues with redemption.

DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Yes! If you arrive without a reservation, the restaurants may refuse to accept the Book.

CAN A RESTAURANT DECLINE MY RESERVATION?

Yes! A restaurant has the right to limit the number of guests with the Book on busy days (i.e., Fridays and Saturdays), or refuse them during public holidays, or for special events. We highly recommend making reservations at least 48 hours in advance!

HOW DOES THE VALIDATION OF THE BOOK WORK?

Before payment, present your Book for redemption. Upon proper presentation of the Book, the restaurant will place a stamp, autograph, or other distinguishing mark above the respective side of the restaurant in the Book. The voucher will no longer be valid after the restaurant places such a marker in the Book.

IF WE ARE MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE, DOES THE RESTAURANT ACCEPT MORE THAN ONE BOOK?

No, only one Book is accepted per group.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A RESTAURANT IS CLOSING?

Unfortunately, we can't do anything about the closing of a featured restaurant. We are unable to offer refunds. However, we always do our best to find alternatives and other options. If an alternative becomes available, we will contact you immediately!
